Portland Spirit

The benefit of being depleted in vitamin D around the winter solstice means night shots can be done around 6pm. It was a nice & clear night out but is supposed to rain tomorrow. And it was an excellent time to try out my new Induro carbon fiber tripod. It's solid like a Sherman tank.
If you've ever had the sloppy pleasure of taking a booze cruise down the mighty Willamette you'll recognize these two cranes. I contrasted the size of these mammoths from as I remembered them aboard the Portland Spirit. Either of these could remove a full sized container off a ship & place them on a train with ease.
Strobist: SB600 with a stofen was triggered manually at 1/4 power, camera left on the foreground with an amber gel.

I am very happy that such a broad range of individuals and advocacy groups supports my priorities and values my experience in preparation for serving on the Portland City Council. Please add your name to my Supporters list, if it isn't there already.
