Laurelhurst Theater
The Laurelhurst Theater became part of Portland's cultural and architectural history when it was built in 1923, one of the first art deco style buildings of the period. What was once a successful family theater lost out to the multiplexes of the late eighties.
At the start of the twenty-first century, months of renovation brought the theater back to stand again as a proud icon to Portland's history and future.
Now you may enjoy microbrews, wine, Pizzicato pizza and above average theater concessions in the lobby where the old sectional mirror from the original 1923 interior once again reflects Portland's friends and families. All of which may be brought into the auditoriums to enjoy at your table while you watch your movie.

The debate was shown live on at least two screens at the Laurelhurst Theater last night (as were the first two debates plus VP). We clapped, booed, hissed, and groaned along with a packed theater. 'twas super fun.
