Beginning this month, Green Fabric will be hosting Last Thursday events showcasing the bands who rehearse here and contribute to the space. And this month, a new 8-piece jazz group will be performing.
So new that they don"'t quite have a name yet, they"'ll be running a give-the-band-a-name contest with a prize generously [...]

We"'ve finished transforming Green Fabric"'s front room into an awesome rehearsal and performance space. Thanks so much to Barb and John for their help in making it happen.

The Portland Tribune did a nice little writeup of the Green Fabric Foreign Language Reading Room. We"'ve been getting a lot of email since then from people interested in the project, which is great.
