I was so pumped about the Koppenburg race results that I spilled the beans to Ira and Joel when I saw them down at the Veloshop.
Spoiler!
I also left the coffee grinder behind in the flat in Astoria so, I had to do my intervals in the direction of the Veloshop, high five the mechanics, pick [...]

These updates are getting pathetic!
I have so much to write about and so little time or energy to put into it.
Really exciting changes coming up in the next few weeks.
Already scheduling the 09 cx season.
Below are my scattered thoughts from the last couple weeks:

There has been tons of interest in Francois' tyres so the short answer is yes!
I am bringing in some FMB tyres to stock in the Veloshop.
I have a couple pairs in stock and more on the way.
They are truly a handmade tyre and the fabrication + shipping process may take up to a few weeks [...]
Summer is here and we need a solid mechanic.
I'm looking for a career bicycle mechanic. Full-time position, long term commitment preferred. Thorough knowledge of wheel-building, disc and suspension systems a plus.
Good pay, good work. Benefits an option.
Send resumes to the Veloshop.

Made a few phone calls about Lapierre road and mountain bike frames. Have you seen them yet? I'm anxious to get one in.
There is a bunch of [...]

Building wheels till midnight. Back in the shop early Saturday morning.
It is barely even summer yet!
Built up a Chris King XC disc wheelset (a solid 1640 gms!), got a tandem to work on, a pile of repairs. Too many track wheels to think about, single speed projects galore.
I dropped a full box of spoke nipples [...]

Got in a bunch of Pedros mid-priced floor pumps, Sugino 75 silver track cranks for just over $200 and a bunch of bullhorn / TT style handlebars.
Forgive me, I can't yet put photos up on the shop blog (I don't know why.) but I wish I could. It is a mad house in here. There [...]

I’d like to welcome Raleigh bicycles into the Veloshop.
It took a while, I spent a long time debating whether I was going to stock a “big name” line of bicycles. Raleigh has what the Veloshop needs. Race quality mountain bikes and frames. Mid range road and upright cruiser machines. An excellent range of road racing [...]
