Sara came up to Portland to take photos of the bike scene for her Visual Journalism Class.

As she states, "THE CLASS IS CALLED PHOTO ESSAY. SELF GENERATED AND MONITORED EACH WEEK BY THE TEACHER. IT IS TO PREPARE THE STUDENT TO BE ABLE TO PUT A PIECE TOGETHER FOR SAY A MAGAZINE, OR EDITORIAL WORK OF SOME SORT."

This set contains some of the photos that she took of my family biking around. She was very generous to give me copies and allow me to share them via Flickr. If you want to contact her for any reason, send me a Flickr mail and I will hook you up.

Sara stayed in Portland for about a month and quite a busy month for biking it was. She went to Veer, saw bike polo, the tall bikes, went to the bike craft show, met a variety of wonderful people.....
