Mayor Sam Adams was sworn in today at Parkrose High School. I wouldn't normally carry political content, but I am a strong supporter of Mayor Adams and believe that it is worth taking a moment to review his thoughts and ideas for the future of our fair city. We are a city that is very youthful and embracing of diversity. The Pioneers who came to the Oregon Territory were very independent thinkers. It's nice to see that some things haven't changed all that much.

Because we have created this think-different, keep-it-real,

Bad weather closed Portland State University all of last week. This meant that PDX Writer Daily was closed, too.
We'll try to catch up now.
