The High Violets
Clint and Luke formed The High Violets from the ashes of a successful band called the Bella Low, which also featured Jsun Adams of the Upsidedown. The Bella Low toured and played support to The Dandy Warhols and attracted some major record label attention. It was eventually a drug problem with one of the members that forced the band to call it a day, but the band definitely lives on in the memories of the local Portland music scene.

In my day we had to listen to all our music through strings and tin cans, until my neighbor showed me his iPod-aphone. Fascinating, really.....
Apparently it will also be available as an archived show after that, and also a podcast.
Speaking of podcasts, the High Violets will be appearing on my rock-n-roll interview podcast show The Rock Report later this month. Stay tuned.
