The cultural institution 360 has moved to the old X-Large store front in the west side of the building Mary's Club. Mary's Club is practically a landmark in Portland since its inception back in 1954, and its addition of topless dancers in 1965. last night some time after midnight i found a moto razr in the street between tugboat brewing and mary's club. it was raining really hard so i made sure to pick it up and dry it off. i took it home and went through the phone book to try to figure out who to call to find the owner (i decided on the "mom" entry) but didn't want to call then because it was pretty late.

so i woke up this morning and the phone is dead, i assume because of the battery since it totally worked last night (hopefully it is not delayed water damage). so my question is, what is the best way to get this phone back to the owner? it's a verizon phone, should i go to a verizon store? are they the best people to get it back to the owner? i guess i could also post something on craigslist, but would that just be pointless?

Revelry is from 7 to 9:30 this Friday (May 2nd) at Bombshell Vintage... 811 E Burnside, right across the street from the Doug Fir / Jupiter Hotel. Even if you think my pictures suck, you'd probably still like the store, s'awesome.

Mary's Club is a Portland nightlife landmark. Courtney Love danced here in the 1980's as "Michelle". She made connections during this time by sleeping with every rocker that came through town. The club itself is a popular stop with people passing through Portland, especially musicians and actors. Three different movies have been filmed at Mary's Club: "Bongwater", "Dangerous Pursuit", and "Brainsmashers". The exterior of Mary's was featured prominently in "The Hunted" and has been seen on CNN, E!, and MSNBC.
